ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I do not aim to persuade or impress.
My images arise where attention is quiet and sustained —
where time and distance allow space for what cannot be forced.
I am drawn to what remains unsaid:
the subtle, the passing, the unresolved.
Not to explain, but to stay near.
Not to simplify, but to hold complexity without demand.

What moves me is the living texture of the world —
its fragility, its layered histories,
its subtle elusiveness, always beyond full grasp.
I believe art can hold a space —
a space where difference needs no resolution,
and where the viewer may recognize something of themselves,
not by being addressed, but by being received.
